Impact Projects

We curate and mentor impactful projects that help build local communities while addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development goals.

Why should you think globally, and act locally?

Today’s greatest challenges, from climate change to poverty, inequality to displacement, natural resource depletion to overpopulation, are global in nature and interconnected.

Millions of people around the world would like to be part of the solution, to be the change they wish to see. Countless organizations and institutions are working on these issues, yet many of them are still looking inward, pursuing narrow interests within national, cultural, academic and economic boundaries.

Vision

A world where we transcend differences, acting on our shared humanity, to thrive collectively.

Mission

Through our fellowship and collaborative programs, we promote and enable global citizenship as a way for individuals and organizations to work together across boundaries of place and identity to solve challenges in an interconnected world.

The Melton Fellowship offers diverse pathways for passionate individuals committed to fostering positive social change. Our two main entry points into our life-long Melton Fellowship are holistic, and aimed at change agents at different stages of their social impact journey.

The Global Solvers Accelerator brings together emergent agents of social change from across the globe for an impact-driven, project-focused, learning journey. Alternatively, the Global Citizenship Learning Program, for university students with an eagerness to explore Global Citizenship, serves as the second entry point, providing a 1.5-year comprehensive experiential learning experience.

Global Solvers Accelerator program

Over eight months, participants develop leadership skills, refine social impact initiatives, and ignite transformative change across sectors, places, and identities, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Global Citizenship Learning Program

Our Global Citizenship Learning Program empowers university students passionate about community service, enhancing their capacity, influence, and advocacy for impactful change through leadership and commitment to serving society.

Life long Senior Fellowship

Since 1991, the Melton Foundation has united 600+ global Senior Fellows, fostering collaboration across professions, empowering change agents with skills and networks for impact, emphasizing engagement and contribution over incentives.
